In absolute submission to the will of God for a life well spent; with heart filled with sorrow, evergreen love, and cherished memories,  we announce the passage to glory of our beloved member, mother, aunt, and a friend to many - Mrs. Betty Ayomike. Betty Ayomike was a honorable member of Itsekiri National Association - Washington/Baltimore, CMSA. Of equal importance, she is also the wife of our National President - Mr. Bawo Ayomike. She passed on peacefully at her residence in Washington DC on Tuesday evening - January 3rd 2012 after a brief illness. She demonstrated a life full of joy, exemplary faith, strength, and hope. Betty Ayomike was a noble and loving mother.

As we mourn with our National President, we pray the good Lord grant the entire family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Fellow brothers and sisters, this is a time to demonstrate our support for one another as we always do. As we go through this exit with the family, let us remember the Ayomikes in our daily prayers, phone calls, and visit. This has always been our passion. Let us continue with our support.

Betty, rest on in the bossom of the Almighty till we meet to depart no more.
